Mould Handles

Metal parts are laser cut from 5/16” 1018 Steel.

Hydro- formed for precision and stress relieved. Extra large head pivot pin is secured with an adjustable self-locking nut. All metal parts are blue/black finished. Hardwood handles (species may vary) are tipped with heavy duty Stainless Steel ferrules and provide an excellent and comfortable grip. These mold handles are of the highest quality and will provide years of service.

Replacement Sprue

Cutter Plates

Heavy replacement Sprue Cutter Plates are laser cut from 3/16 inch thick 1018 Steel. All holes are C.N.C. machined. Precision ground on both sides and stress relieved. Finished plates measure approx. 0.170” thick. Metal parts are blue/black finished. These sprue cutter plates are of the highest quality and will provide an excellent replacement for your worn or bent plates.

Bullet Moulds

Custom paper patch bullet moulds. C.N.C. machined. All adjustable moulds are nose poured. Mould blocks are made from Dura-Bar 65-45-12 extruded fine grain ductile iron. Three hardened dowel pins provide positive alignment in both vertical and horizontal planes. Heavy sprue cutter plate precision ground both sides.

Kal-Max Case Stretching Jig

For all .45 Basic-Style Cases

BPC Shooters, are your cases too short for your chamber dimensions? Rather than buy new brass, stretch your existing Remington, BELL and or

Star-Line brass to meet your needs.

(The Kal-Max case stretcher will not work with Winchester brass)

The Kal-Max Case Stretcher was invented by Mr. Chuck Maxwell and developed by KAL Tool & Die. Together, we have come up with a simple and ingenious tool to “Stretch” your short cases. All parts are of the highest quality, laser cut and/or CNC machined. A hardened “Draw” bushing and a “D2” Tool Steel punch will offer ample service life.

This hydraulically operated Case-Stretcher is basic in construction and easy to use. Simple adjustments allow the user to vary the amount of “Stretch or Draw” required, up to a maximum of approximately 0.050”. The KMCSJ will work on most .45 caliber (straight walled) BPC cases up to 3 1/4” long.

The tool is configured to use the 4-ton “Porto-Power” hydraulic tool set from Blackhawk Automotive. However, it will accept other maker’s hydraulic cylinders having a similar 7/8” diameter ram.

Both “Drawing” & “Stripping” operations are preformed hydraulically. A 4-ton unit is sufficiently

powerful, but the KMCSJ can be configured

(at extra cost) to use a 10-ton unit if desired.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING PAPER PATCH

BULLET MOULDS – PLEASE READ

Due to the variety of casting techniques, casting temperatures, alloy used, etc. The tolerances on all Paper Patch bullet moulds, is + 0.001” – 0.0015” / - 0.0000” on as cast diameters. Weight variations can also be expected when using various alloys. All bullet dimensions, weights, etc. are based on using pure Pb as a casting medium.
